Nach zwei Monaten Entwicklung ist die neue Version der Retarded Mod endlich fertig gestellt. Wie wir von der offiziellen Homepage erfahren konnten, sind in der neuen und aktuellen Version 2.7 umfangreiche Änderungen vorgenommen worden. Diese betreffen vor allem viele Einheiten, die um einiges stärker sind als im originalen C&C Tiberium Wars. Im Folgenden könnt ihr alle Änderungen der englischen Originalfassung entnehmen.
Changes from 2.6 to 2.7:
* Give Catalyst Avatars the ability to convert other Catalyst Avatars into their army's. (Encourage Catalyst on Catalyst Action)
* R.O.F. Nurf for Devastator Warships
* Double the size of Nod's Cloaking Field and let it Also Stealth Vehicles
* Double the attack power of Sonic Emitters
* Radar Scan will reveal more
* Stealth Tanks will deal more damage
* Rance Costa build time will now be set to 30 seconds
* Catalyst Avatar build time is now two minutes
* Build time of Vertigo bombers and Firehawks have been halfed
* Vertigo AA weapon has been doubled
* All tech centers take 2 minutes to build and require $10,000
* Nod Commando can now fire at aircraft and no longer uses c4
* All Transport vehicles (Ox ect..) get double the health
* Temple Prime added to Nod Faction, allows huge power and build radius boost.
* Sniper Drop (GDI) Will now contain twice the snipers
* All Mammoth Tanks now include 1 Repair Drone
* Ion Cannon Control Center comes with 3 AA Turrets
* GDI Tech Center comes with 3 Sonic Emitters
* Ion Cannon's Prep time is set back to 5 minutes
* Catalyst Avatar will now require Secret Shrine
* Rance Costa will now require Armory
* Shadow Teams fly twice as fast
* GDI foxholes take half as much time to build
* Nod and GDI Powerplants can now upgrade without a tech building
* Catalyst Avatars must have temple prime to be built, and also now have a build time of 5 seconds.
* Catalyst Avatars will now have a 100 Second Life time (not just the original)
